Explore some introductory practices in fermenting foods and expand your knowledge with local smallholder Rose Benoy.
Led by Rose Benoy, local smallholder and owner of Rosehip EcoLiving, this workshop will cover fermentation techniques. Come along to learn how to maximise your seasonal food harvest and support your gut health at the same time!
Topics covered during this 2-hour workshop will include:
We'll also be making a vegetable ferment using produce from Sustainable Kirriemuir's Community Garden for you to take home and care for!
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, or those who want to explore or expand their knowledge of fermentation further.
We'll have a relaxed approach with plenty of opportunity for discussion blended with practical activity. Tea and coffee will be provided, but feel free to bring along your own drink and snack if you like. Please also bring a sturdy bag or box to take away your creation at the end of the workshop.
Get ready to ferment fearlessly. Your microbes await.
