Come along and explore our local woodlands and be introduced to sustainable foraging.
Led by Christina, our Active & Sustainable Travel Officer, we'll be joined by a small group of local foraging enthusiasts to take a gentle walk around a local wood, looking for and identifying edible and medicinal trees, flowers and plants.
We’ll chat about their etymology, how best to prepare them and the benefits of foraging. Come along to increase your knowledge around foraging and find out about the abundance of what nature has to offer in Kirriemuir. After the forage we'll go to Sustainable Kirriemuir's Farm where we can cook up some of our foraged goodies.
