'ROBERT MEADMORE HAS ONE OF THE MOST GLORIOUS VOICES I HAVE EVER HEARD. I LOVE TO HEAR HIM SING' ….ANNE REID MBE

When two great friends of two different genres come together, fun, and musical fireworks are created. Robert from the world of musical theatre and Jamie from the world of jazz. The have both achieved individual successes, on stage, in concert and in jazz clubs around the world and following their sell out cabarets at The Pheasantry and Crazy Coqs in London are united once again for a rare and special evening at the Edinburgh Festival.

Classical Brit nominee Robert is recognised as one of the West Ends finest voices. He has starred in many of Londons most popular musicals including Phantom of the Opera, Brigadoon, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma!, Camelot and Dear World. His cabaret shows are critically-acclaimed both in London and New Yorks 54 Below and his album ‘After a Dream” reached no. 2 in the Classical Charts.

Jamie is a much loved, young jazz virtuoso and collaborator with pop royalty as well as a witty raconteur. He has recently worked with the likes of Will Young, Kylie Minogue, Julian Clary, Mica Paris, Clare Teal and sold out his one man show at Ronnie Scotts and Crazy Coqs.

“Robert Meadmore’s gorgeous voice is a genuine thing of beauty and can transform a song. This beautifully paced and arranged show, in duo format with one of the most in-demand pianists on the scene - the waggish and ever adventurous Jamie Safir, is drenched in soulful music and naughty banter. Let Meadmore’s singing soothe your worries or augment your joys. Don’t miss it” …. Ian Shaw.

“Balladeer, raconteur and heart throb, Robert had Piccadilly quietly sizzling last night” Jeffrey Taylor, Sunday Express
“One of the truly outstanding tenors of our post war musical theatre stage” Michael Coveney, What’s on Stage.

“One of ore biggest talents of British Jazz piano” Jay Rayner, The Guardian.
“Jamie on the piano was riveting, I got the night bus home, Oh the glamour” Julian Clary.
