ABOUT OUR PUB
A HISTORY OF HOSPITALITY
There has been a public house on the site of the Chipperfield Boot since the early 1600s, providing hostelry to travellers, merchants, droves men and village locals for over four centuries. The local area is steeped in history, folklore and legend and The Chipperfield Boot has its share of ghosts and apparitions!
As new owners and custodians of this fine tradition of providing hearty meals and refreshment to all guests and customers, we are committed to providing the highest quality food, drink and service in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this beautiful traditional country pub.
Our chef, Robbie Cresswell, has created a wonderful menu of traditional and modern dishes to tempt and excite you while his delicious pies are to die for!
Our cosy family restaurant atmosphere makes Sunday lunch roasts here a special occasion every time and our gardens are the perfect place for families and friends to enjoy those long hot summer days.
We can't wait to welcome you here to The Chipperfield Boot so you too can become part of the great tradition of hospitality and service that makes our English country pub so special.
