Location - How do I set up my event when I haven’t secured a venue?
Organisers can still create an event listing even when the physical venue details are still being finalised. Instead of a specific location, they can temporarily mark the event as having a "To Be Confirmed" (TBC) venue.Once a venue is secured later, organisers can easily update the location information by either adding a new venue from their account or swapping to an online event format as needed.
This flexibility enables organisers to publish events and start promotion/ticketing earlier, without being blocked by unavailable venue details. It allows building anticipation while venue arrangements are still being made behind the scenes.
- Click on the “Events” button on the left-hand main panel.
- Click “Setup”.
- Select “Location”.
- Under “My Location” click the link “Set location as To be confirmed”.
- Your location will appear as TBC. You can change the location to your secured venue at a later date by selecting “ Venue” then "Add new".
Tip - To swap your event from a physical to an online event, simply go to “Location” and select the Online option.
